Homework Request Process 

 

Regular attendance is a cornerstone of academic success. When students consistently attend school, they benefit from continuous learning, critical classroom interactions, and hands-on experiences that are vital for understanding and retaining material. Absences can lead to learning gaps, making it challenging for students to keep up with their peers and weakening their foundational skills over time. Please note, the school does not recognize family vacations or trips with groups outside of the school district as legal absences. However, if your child is out of school for an extended period of time we ask for your cooperation and understanding as work is collected and we kindly request your student to complete the work requested while they are out of the classroom.

 

 

What should I expect when requesting work?

Teachers will determine if work can be sent home or develop an action plan upon the students return. Some   

teachers will not be able to send home work if the lesson does not avail itself to be done independently. 

Where should I request the homework?

When should I pick it up?

The Counseling Office will arrange when the school work can be picked up from the Main Office. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation in having your child complete the missed work and adhering to the teachers’ expectations.
