Keeping Our Campus Safe: Important E-Bike Laws & Guidelines for Families

As part of our commitment to student safety, we want to share important information regarding e-bike use. E-bikes are not permitted on campus, and we ask for your partnership in reinforcing this expectation with your child. New York State law allows e-bikes to be operated only on streets with speed limits of 30 mph or less and not on sidewalks. Additionally, operators must be at least 16 years old and wear a helmet, and parents or guardians may be held responsible for violations. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and informed.
